Pixelscrapper Blog Train – May 2015

Hey everyone! Can you believe it’s May already? Oh.my.gosh. Where does the time go? We’re in the midst of finalizing graduation stuff for my oldest daughter and looking forward to a week long ministry trip to Honduras in June. Lots to look forward to in the coming months!

This month, however, I’m sure you all are going to LOVE all the goodies from the Pixelscrapper Blog Train. You can find the full list of contributors here.

I really liked the theme for May: Renewal (and the color palette is so soft and lovely!). Of course, spring is a time of renewing with all that comes back to life but alongside that, spiritual renewal was  a primary thought for me this month. I just love that God renews our minds day by day as we seek Him in His word and prayer.

I tried some of my own extractions this month with the burlap piece, the wood texture paper, and Bible scripture paper scrap (it’s a shot out of my own Bible, hence the underlining lol). I also used one of my favorite flower photos from our time in WV in the journal card. I’m having fun venturing into the world around me to find bits and pieces to add to my kits (though it’s also very time consuming). Hope they work for you!
