Project 365 – Day 52

Saturday! Snow day…yet again. We got 7-8″ inches of snow today, depending on where you were standing in the yard lol. Overall, it was a good day with the family. I took a bunch of photos today. Some were in line with the photo prompt, others were just while we were hanging out.

I started with one photo to use for the CY365 prompt: Indistinct/Blur/Hazy. I had this random idea of throwing some colored necklaces into the snow and using a reflection to bring out some clarity. I think it turned out ok.

After a day’s worth of photos though, I decided on this one of Shelby for my final POTD. When it came down to which photo I wanted in my 365 photo book, she definitely won out! I could not pass up this photo moment when she made a “book room” (as she called it) between the couch and the wall. Since she’s just learning to read, it was a perfect melt-mommy’s-heart moment. ❤

I also managed to get everybody outside into the freezing cold for a family photo. It was a super rushed shot but I’m ok with the imperfectness of it. It fits out family perfectly.

I took a few more today but not going to post them all here. You can follow my flickr for more non-project 365 photos.

Thanks for stopping by!
