Project 365 – Day 46

It was SO COLD today. We woke up to “feels like” 12 degrees BELOW ZERO! That’s way too cold. Church was canceled due to extreme cold. So, we slept in. Enjoyed a lazy morning and then decided to brave the cold to get some much needed grocery shopping done.

I grabbed my cam and decided we would take some of the back roads on the way to the store to see what I could find. We were keeping our eyes out for anything that stood out as interesting or with good color. It’s so dreary this time of year, color is a welcome addition to photos!

We made a couple stops before we turned down an alley and I saw all these parked sheriff’s cars. I couldn’t help myself. I had to get some photos of them. The CY365 prompt for today was Depth of Field, so I used this nice line-up to fulfill that. Only after the first couple of shots did I notice the icicles hanging from the rear bumper. Nice!

So this was my photo of the day, but I was happy with a few other shots I got as well. If you’d like to see them, check out my Around Town post.

Thanks for stopping by!
