I’m kinda surprised that I’m even posting a blog today because at this point (7pm), I am absolutely ex-haus-ted! Had a 7 hour prom dress shopping day and by the end of it, all I wanted to do was eat and sleep. Traveled to 3 different cities, numerous shops and nothing. Between finding the right size, right style and right price, we were left empty-handed. Discouraging…yes. But, we’ll try again next weekend.
As you can imagine, I didn’t have much time to plan out a photo for today. The CY365 prompt was Gate (more or less), so I threw my camera in the car as we headed out this morning and tried to keep my eyes open. Along the hwy to the first town, I noticed these little gates every so often. I liked the X in between the wooden posts and the obviously rustic gate matched its farmland surroundings.
On the long hour drive from one town to the next, I pulled off to the side of the hwy and took a shot. Actually I took a couple, but this was the one I went with for my photo of the day. I liked the way the bush line up on the hill directed my eye right to the fence.
